Abercrombie

This is pretty random, but I felled like I needed to say this: Abercrombie, why so much hate?! Every across the world people my age (teenagers) are wearing Abercrombie and Hollister for that matter to! I personally think that is a great brand, not cheap but good quality and awesome designs, that goes together with everything and it changes often, as fashion changes! My own wardrobe is half Abercrombie and Hollister cloth, and I would love it to only be it! (my mom not so much)! Well that wasn't what this was about, more about what people say about it! As I mentioned it seems like every young girl and boy for that matter own some Abercrombie! I America the stores is all over and the cloth is just like anything else, in the way that it is easy to get! In Europe it is a statement, it is something you own if you are cool, if you can say that! It tells something about you, if you wheres it! Hope you get it!
But what I wanted to get to was the hate! My mom for an example own some Abercrombie cloth (mostly because I drag here into the stores) but hate the "image": the loud music, dark stores, half-naked models and so on.! That it! Why would you buy if you don't like it! Abercrombie as a brand most do something right in their advertising because people buy it!

Handball

First half of the game between Sweden and Denmark, in women competition is over! Sweden is leading the game with a couple of goals! ARH! that is all I can say! Well obviously that is not good for Denmark, but I am kind of bitter about, because I made a bet with my brother that the women team is gonna do better than the men! (I don't really believe they will! :P) So let's hope for all reasons that they will win! The break between the two halves, I am using watching the mens qualification in artistic gymnastics (Again I love that sport), but I has to admit I like the women's better!

Olympics!

OL, Olympics, or whatever you want to call them!! No matter what, I love them, that's for sure! It's the 5th time in my life that the Olympics is here, Atlanta in 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008, and now London 2012! Yes man, I am excited! In my Family, handball has always been the big sport! I grew up dreaming about the Olympics, the first 3 Olympics in my life time (1996, 2000 and 2004) the danish national team in handball (women) was the olympic gold medalists! That was what we all wanted to be, an olympian! These women was and meant everything for us little handball girls, they was the coolest people!
Well a lot of us had to realize that the Olympics was out of reach, but that didn't stop us from keep fighting! Their are girls, girls I grew up training with and competing with who I wouldn't be surprised to see playing at the Olympics in 4 maybe 8 years, and that is great, you feel proud of them! In Denmark, handball is the biggest sport between girls, and every 4 years 14 girls get to go, (if they even qualify)! And their is 1000, and 1000 of girls who wants to be one of those 14, so the chances are very slim, but there are just some who is that much better than the rest!
Well back to the Olympics! We watch handball, that is kind of our favorite in my family! But we love to watch everything else, you now sailing, swimming, and track! But gymnastics has my heart! I love that sport, there is something superpowered over it! I used to do gymnastics, but not on the same level as the them on tv (NOT AT ALL)! So I guess all be glued to the tv, when gymnastics and handball is on! <3
So good luck everybody at the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, Good Luck Denmark, and America! Especially good luck to the Danish National Team in Handball (men and women) and good luck to the U.S. Artistic Gymnastic Team <3

France, my 3rd home

Most people have one, maybe two places where they feel at home.. I have three! Denmark, America and France! Frederiksberg (Copenhagen), Mobridge, and Antibes.. Even though my French sucks, and that I have no connection to France (family or friends) I still feel at home here.. Since I was a couple of years old my Grandparents (Father's parents) have had a house here, in Antibes. And I have been here countless times. Summer vacation, fall and spring breaks and even a single Christmas.. I now this place better than my own backyard, and it is my free place.. It is where there is space to dream, the weather is always nice and you can see the sea from the rooftop terrace.. As long as I remember, I always had fun here.. Going to the beach everyday, the playground and running around our selfs in a way that you couldn't do in the big city at home, you know no limits, being free to do what ever..
This is my place, no question!

Vacation!!

OK I am sorry, but you know.. Vacation is always busy and I couldn't find any time to blog so I do now!! Since last time I blogged we was headed to Salt Lake City to shop, and than a whole lot more after that.. We visited Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, drove on Highway 1 along the west coast of California, and last but not least San Francisco! No! I didn't forget about bloggin'

A week has now past since I left Mobridge, and you wouldn't believe how much I miss it! But I am having fun here, on vacation, and it is nice to have time to relax (More like being un the run and spending hours un end in this [STUPID] RV)... But it is nice to get to see all the places we have been talking about in History and that people have told me about.. Seeing familiar and unfamiliar places! It is nice to be with my family (most of the time)! Well back to my vacation! I have in the past week seen more places than I thought was possible in a month, been in 5 different states (South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Utah) and learned a bunch!

Last Monday (the 4th) (in the morning), we left Mobridge and heated to Badlands, South Dakota which is a National Park, it is an old Lava landscape.. It was like a desert there, it was so freaking hot and there was almost no wind! After we had driven around for about 4 hours and I had bought my indispensable magnet (I collect magnets from every place I have been, and I have done it the last 4 year; which collection includes magnet from all over Europe and now also the United States), we headed to the Black Hills, where we slept at a Campground near Rapid City!

Tuesday (the 5th) we started the day by going to the mall, "just" to buy a new lens to my Camera, but I (my parents) ended up buying a t-shirt, a tank-top, and a pair of tennis shoes too.. We than went to Cosmos, which is a place in the Black Hills, where gravity is supposed to be "wrong"! After about 11/2 at Cosmos we headed to Mount Rushmore, even though I had been there before it was still like being in a Movie, going there, because it is a place you see on TV so often! We than went to the a Campground in Hill City, and got ready to go out for Dinner, and than to go to Crazy Horse.. At Crazy Horse (the Native American's version of Mount Rushmore) we saw this lightning show, where they told the story of Crazy Horse and had a protector showing pictures on the actually memorial..

Wednesday (the 6th) we spent in Coster State Park looking at Buffalos and just driving around the Hills. That night we slept at a campground by Deadwood, SD..

Thursday (the 7th) the day I had to leave South Dakota! In the morning we went to the falls by Spearfish, and than we were heated to Wyoming.. We drove to Devils Tower, to see what is just a famous Rock Formation than looks like a tower.. At night we drove to Sheridan where we ate at the famous Sheridan Inn, where Buffalo Bill stayed back in the day (I most admit, I had no idea who he was at first either, some famous Cowboy or something like that.) We stayed the night at a Campground close to Sheridan.

Friday (the 8th) we were now heated to Yellowstone National Park, and on the way we stopped in Cody, WY, a town that is famous for something to do with Buffalo Bill (again!), where he apparently stayed at the Irma Inn, where we had to get something to drink (HAHA!) In Cody I bought a Cowboyhat (yes this time I payed, because my mother refused to), I am not sure why I spent 33 dollars on it, but I wanted to prove I could be a little redneck! We also stopped in Little Big Horn, MT, the place where that Indian vs. White battle was back in the day! Late at night we arrived at Yellowstone, at a campground without WiFi (disaster!!)

Saturday, and Sunday the (the 9th and 10th) we spent both days in Yellowstone (where I off course bought a magnet, hihi) and where we saw everything from Mountain Bluebirds to Chipmunks, to Grizzly Bears, to Coyotes, to Mooses, to Hot Springs, to Geysers, to Water Falls (the once we saw in Spearfish didn't even come close, it made we wonder why we even stopped in Spearfish), to ya what didn't we see? We saw black bears, squirrels. eagles and buffalo too! It is hard to explain how amazing there was, and cold! It freaking snowed, in freaking June! Well all I can say is GO THERE, and bring a coat!

Monday (the 11th) after spending the night in Yellowstone we where now heated to Grand Teton National Park to see the famous Mountains! after only spending an hour there we where once again un the road, this time on the way to Idaho, and than to Utah (all we pretty much did all day was drive) and we are now at a Campground in Utah by Bear Lake known as the Caribbean of the Rockies, and tomorrow we are heated to some "Outlet town" by Salt Lake City, which equals more shopping <3!!!

And for you who things I should upload some pictures, I will say that I am to impatient and that the will come at some point either in Las Vegas, when we are gonna stay at a real hotel and not a campground or when I get home in the end of the month!
Well anyway, time for bed! Sleep Tight/good morning to the people in Denmark! I'll will now finally turn of my computer and go to bed here in the RV at the Campground in Garden City, Utah! Good night!

Long time, No see

Well it has been awhile! And I wish I have had time to blog, because there has been so much to right about!! It all started tuesday the 29th of May (the last day I blogged), that was the day my parent flew into Minneapolis. The day after (wednesday) went by with packing my things and getting ready, well I was so nervous/excited that I didn't (couldn't) do much!
Thursday the 31st of May 2012: The day was finally here, the day I was gonna be reunited with my family, God I was excited!! And it was so freaking good to see them again, you  wouldn't even believe the feeling I had in my body, it was indescribable! (I can't believe it is already one week ago!)
Friday we drove around Mobridge, and went to Sitting Bulls Memorial, To the Museum in Mobridge, and  I send to big boxes of literally crap home (books, shoes, cloth ECT.), and than we went on the a boat ride in the Bay!

Saturday we spent pretty much all day at the Marina where we enjoyed the sun! Only highlight/lowlight of the day was the fact that my Lens for my Camera brook and I had to wait until we got to Rapid City to get a new one! At night we went out to dinner, my whole Host Family (all the ones who was in Mobridge), and My Family at Fireside (A restaurant in Mobridge)

My mean mother chose to take a picture with the broken lens (It couldn't focus or zoom, so she was lucky is was focused!) but my eyes was all teared up! 

Sunday: We went to church in the Morning, it was fun to show my family my life through the last 10 months, and show them what American Church is all about! Than we drove to Fort Manual in Kennel, SD and to Fort Yates, ND (Just to go to North Dakota)!! Well when we got back to Mobridge, we went to Dairy Queen and than went swimming in the River! That night we had a goodbye party at the Marina, where we had supper, eat cake and went swimming in the river, made s'mores and ECT!...

Monday we left Mobridge and our Family Vacations  Started in Badlands and the Black Hills, SD! I'll hopefully get time to post about that tomorrow and upload some more pictures!! For now it is Bedtime, 11.55 Local Time (Mountain time)! Good Night here from the little RV in Sheridan, Wyoming, sleep tight!

The day is here, they have waited for..

Today at 3.45 pm danish time (8.45 am central american time) my parents flew out of Copenhagen Airport, and are now on there way to Chicago, Illinois and from there to Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota where they stay until Thursday, and then arrive here in Mobridge Thursday afternoon!
I am so excited to see them!!

If I only could

If I only could I would stop time and go back to the time where we just were kids.. A time where all we did was fun and we only had to cry over skinned knees and worry over the monsters under the bed, and if just the light was on or we could hold our mothers hand those worries disappeared.. A time were you played with everybody and our friends was always like friends should be... But I miss this time so much of the fact that I do not want to grow up, or I am scared of it.. And now it seems like all my friends a hurrying* to! I don't understand, they are still teenagers what are they rushing for?? Getting married at 18? Moving out at 17? And getting tattoos at 16? I am sorry to the people who do/did this, I am not mad at you, but I think you should enjoy your "childhood"!!

Well I will enjoy it for as long as I can, even though I  am properly more responsible and independent and more mature than most "kids" my age, but who don't want somebody to cook for you, and clean and do your laundry I sure do!!! :)

I just got done skyping with my Parents... and for the last time in this turn.. Next week at this time they will be here in Mobridge.. On Tuesday they fly out to America, and on Thursday the arrive in Mobridge <3 <3 <3  Oh I am so excited, no time to pack!!
